Mascara Combination

Step 1- Curl your eyelashes! I never used to and now I can't not!

Step 2- Next I add lashings of Lancome Hypnose Onyx Mascara. This mascara is brilliant for adding lots of volume and I find it's really good for coating every lash, even the little ones. The wand isn't too big so it's also really good for your bottom lashes. The consistency of the mascara isn't too liquidy so i find my lashes look and feel quite fluttery and girly.

Step 3- Then I got over my lashes with L'oreal Telescopic False Lash Effect mascara. This was in my previous favourites for being used on it's own. However, in conjunction with Lancome Hypnose it is AMAZING!! With an already voluminous base this is what adds the length. Even on top of another mascara it doesn't go clumpy and I don't loose the effect of every lash standing out.

Glossy Box

I'm not going to go into too much detail about Glossy Box because i'm sure a lot of people have either heard of it or are already subscribed. All you need to know is that for £10 a month ,+PP, once a month, you receive a box of beauty products. These range from the luxury to the high street and from skin care to hair care, from make-up to perfume and more! You normally get 5 products but this can vary depending on what is actually in the box that month. So here's what I thought of the May box...

1. Glossy Box Balloon! The May box was a special birthday box to commemorate Glossy Box's first birthday.
2. I got too excited opening what was my first Glossy Box and then had to go back and take a picture of it. Oops!
3. The list of products that are in the Glossy box that month. A nice touch to give you a bit of added information which I found very useful.
4. Noble Isle Bath and Shower Gel. I am yet to try this product yet. Because it's so small I think it will be nice to keep handy as a travel mini...if and when I ever travel. I have heard good things about this brand though and it smells amazing!
5. Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en Blanc sample and Lolita Lempicka Eau de Parfum. I'm so sad that these were only samples and I am very tempted by the full size version. These will be perfect for spring and summer because they have a very light, fresh and girly scent. Not a brand I had heard of before but I will now keep an eye out for in the future.
6. Neal's Yard Re-hydrating Rose Daily Moisture. To be completely honest when I first saw this I didn't know whether to use this on my face or my hands, turns out I prefer it for my face. I also wasn't bowled over by the rose smell but I have got used to it and can over look it because it is a really nice moisturiser. It's not too thick and rich but at the same time you can feel that you have put something on your skin and you feel like it really works. I have very combination skin and I find it doesn't make me too oily but also gets rid of the pesky dry patches.
7. Collection 2000 Gel Eyeliner. Not a fan. One, I wouldn't wear gold eye liner and two, from a swatch on my hand it has a horrible colour and consistency. Not wanting to be too negative but that found a home in the bin.
8. Eldora False Lashes. I was a bit stunned when I first saw these in the box. They are a lot thicker than I would normally go for as I like more natural fluttery lashes but I'm sure there will be an occasion where I could put them to good use.
9. A Glossy Box mirror. I like this a lot because I didn't have a hand mirror and it's found a nice place in my bag.

As you would be waiting for something to come in the post full of luxury beauty goodies I was extremely excited to receive my first ever Glossy Box, especially at the thought of it being the Glossy Box birthday edition. Although I am still utterly in love with the concept I wasn't overly enamored with this specific box. Yes, most of the things I have use for but I didn't think it was anything special. This isn't to say I am disappointed,  I am now just even more excited to see what's in the next box.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

This product really needs no introduction as I'm sure you've all read or heard about this beauty spray. I bought mine from feelunique for £9.90 with free postage. This is only the small size, the larger size is more expensive but I still think they are a reasonable price.

The basic concept of this is that it's a beauty water which you can spray on your face for various reasons, 1) as a toner under makeup, 2) as a spray on top of makeup to refresh your makeup and 3) as a reviving spritz throughout the day for an awakening boost.

Now, I got a bit over excited because I have wanted this product for so long and basically had to force myself to take the plunge but I've only had it for a day so I can't really do a full review. I will keep you updated though.

One of the most renowned aspects of this spray is it's smell, some people hate it, some people love it. I personally LOVE it! It's really herby and kind of lemony, definitely very fresh and relaxing. It really reminds me of the stuff you would put on your pillow as a kid when you couldn't breath because of a cold so to me this smell is really nostalgic and comforting.

When it's sprayed it creates a really smooth appearance to the skin and definitely makes you glow without looking greasy which is great for this time of year. This is the sort of product that is great for when your makeup starts to dry out or go patchy from grease because it's so refining. I didn't buy into it at first, part of the reason I held off buying it, I mean how can a spray of this stuff do all that? But at the end of the day anything Lisa Eldridge recommends I will happily buy.
